Seabreeze Craft Chocolates has opened their doors in the coveted Pavilions anchored Piazza Carmel shopping Center in Carmel Valley.

It is often a challenge landing a first time retailer in a high end trade area and shopping center. We secured the Tenant space in a former Baskin Robbins suite with existing food service and production infrastructure. Given today’s construction costs this is critical for almost any deal that involves Tenant Improvements. In addition we negotiated a TI allowance to help defray costs.

My client is a very passionate chocolatier, leaving his position as a lobbyist in Sacramento to pursue his zeal for chocolate making. This is evident from the moment you walk in to see and smell his operations. Equipment was flown in from Europe as the customer is treated to experiencing the process from bean to bon.

The Tenant, Seabreeze Craft Chocolates, was represented by Josh Burland of Burland Commercial. The Landlord, Piazza Carmel was represented by Jae Chung of Newmark Knight Merrill. Construction was performed by Atmosphere Construction & Design.
